Survival Skills for Managers in Community Supports - Management I
Managers in community supports often have the toughest, most stressful jobs in our field. But it doesn't need to be so hard! This interactive, one-day training will present a tool-kit for managers to help them survive, and even thrive. We will talk about creating a vision to empower your staff to do their jobs better and more effectively, build teams that compliment your leadership style and needs as a manager, using quality assurance as a day to day management system, looking at other day to day management systems, and understanding the Annex A to minimize staff turnover. This training is a must-have for new managers, and a chance for seasoned managers to hone their skills and learn some new perspectives.

Even when one has good management and leadership skills, there can be some significant challenges. Managing is stressful and there is always too much to do.
